FIELD LOG · DAY 1–3 · REGION: UNMARKED
No signal for three days straight. Not weak — absent. The kind of quiet that makes you check your equipment twice, then a third time, just to be sure it's the region and not you.
Water lasted. Power didn't. Lesson noted for next time: carry less that needs charging, more that doesn't need anything at all.
The dead zones aren't empty. They're just off the record.
Found old markers on day two — not ours, not recent, but deliberate. Someone else has been through here, and they left notes for people who weren’d never read them the normal way.
